Top up a Steam wallet in so'm: by account name, in a minute

  • What you need Steam login
  • Delivery ~1 min
  • Payment UzCard · HUMO · Click · Payme · Paynet
Open in Telegram

The Steam Wallet is not an in-game currency but a balance on the account itself. It pays for games and DLC in the Steam Store, in-game purchases in free games such as CS2 and Dota 2, and items on the Community Market. It is most often topped up by PC players in Uzbekistan who are waiting for a sale period, who want money ready for the moment a game on their wishlist drops in price, and who have no international card.

The Steam checkout does not accept UzCard or HUMO, an international card is not something everyone has, and paying with one often ends in a decline. GemPay takes the payment in so'm through the usual local methods - UzCard, HUMO, Click, Payme, Paynet - and puts the balance on the account itself. No conversion and no hunt for a foreign card are needed.

  • Games, DLC and pre-orders in the Steam Store
  • Prime Status and skin purchases in CS2
  • The Dota Plus subscription and in-game items in Dota 2
  • Buying skins and items on the Community Market
  • Gifting a game to a friend through Steam Gift

Topping up Wallet step by step

  1. 1

Open the Steam section in the bot

Start @Gempayuz_bot and pick Steam from the list. This is not a game pack but a wallet top-up: you then spend the balance that arrives on whatever you want.

  2. 2

    Enter the account name (login)

Type the login you use when signing in to Steam. Neither the nickname shown on the profile nor the email address fits this field - those are different details.

  3. 3

    Check the login yourself

With games the system shows the nickname and you confirm it, but in Steam there is no such check. So before sending, compare the login with the line on the Account details page.

  4. 4

Choose an amount and pay in so'm

You pick one of the top-up amounts in the bot and pay with UzCard, HUMO, Click, Payme or Paynet. The price is shown in the bot, and nothing is charged until the payment is confirmed.

  5. 5

    Check the balance in Steam

In about a minute the funds land in the account wallet and appear in Steam next to your name in the top right. If a question comes up, send the receipt to @StarsPaymeeSupport.

Where to find your ID

  1. In Steam, click your name in the top right and open the Account details section.
  2. Find the Account name line at the top of the page - that is the login you type when signing in to Steam.
  3. The nickname shown under the profile and the email are not it; take exactly that line.
  4. It is the same in the Steam mobile app: menu, then Account details - the same line is there.
  5. Copy the login letter by letter, and make sure no space is left at the start or the end.
Mixing up the nickname and the login

The nickname shown in Steam can be changed at any time and is repeated by other people, while the account name is the account's permanent login. There is no nickname confirmation window here: if the wrong login is entered, the funds go to someone else's account, and Valve does not move wallet money between accounts. Compare the login twice before sending.

Which packs are available

Steam has no pack ladder the way games do - here wallet amounts are used, and the bot holds several ready top-up amounts.

The chosen amount lands in the account wallet, is not tied to any game and is then spent on a game, DLC, a Market item or an in-game purchase in a free game, while the balance is shown in whatever currency the account was opened in.

The current amounts and the price are shown in the bot.

FAQ

Steam — FAQ

If I cannot remember my login, where do I look it up?

In Steam, click your name in the top right and open the Account details page - the login is written there. An email address is not the login, and an automatic sign-in saved by the browser or the app does not show it.

Does the top-up work if Steam Guard is enabled?

Yes. The top-up is done from the outside, not by signing in to the account, so there is no need to turn off Steam Guard or the mobile authenticator. A password, a login code or a session is never requested.

Can wallet funds be moved to another account?

No. Under Valve's rules the wallet balance is not transferred between accounts and is not returned as cash. It works only for purchases on that same account, which is why entering the login correctly matters.

Which currency is the balance shown in?

The Steam wallet currency is set by the country the account is registered in, not by GemPay. You pay in so'm, while the balance sits in the currency opened for your account. You can tell the region from how prices are displayed in the Steam store.

Can a new account with no purchases yet be topped up?

Yes, it is enough that the login exists. The limited account restriction in Steam is lifted after a purchase or top-up of the amount Valve sets - Steam handles that itself, and GemPay does not take part in that process.

Can I use the balance to gift a game to a friend?

Yes, the buy as a gift button in the Steam store is paid from the wallet balance, and the game goes to a person on your friends list. Valve restricts gifting between some regions, and Steam checks that itself.
